Clematis Kokonoe

A deciduous climber with deep purple flowers that begin single at the start of the year and develop into fully double blooms. Will bloom all summer long. Undemanding and easy to care for. Suitable for containers.

Plant Care

Cut back the stems to 6 inch above ground level in spring each year. Plant in any good garden soil with the roots in the shade.

Water thoroughly or stand pot in a container of water for half an hour before planting. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Remove the pot, place the plant in hole so that it is level with the surrounding ground, and refill firming as necessary. Feed in spring with a general fertiliser.
