Photinia x fraseri 'Pink Marble'
This robust evergreen shrub has variegated leaves, which emerge brilliant red with pink margins. Clusters of pretty, white flowers appear late spring to compliment the colourful foliage. An easy to grow shrub or hedge that is easily pruned to size and shape to suit any garden.
Best pruned in spring, removing weak shoots and tall stems. Not fussy about soil types, any average garden soil, avoiding wet areas. Feed in spring with a good general fertiliser.
Water thoroughly, or stand pot in a container of water for half an hour before planting. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Remove the pot, place the plant in the hole so that the root ball is level with the surrounding ground and refill, firming if necessary. Keep well watered in dry weather. Feed in spring with a good, general fertiliser.
