Shrubs Range

Fatsia japonica 'Spider's Web'

A bushy, evergreen shrub, with heavily speckled green and white leaves that resemble a spider's web. It is an excellent choice for a town courtyard garden, or shaded balcony. Striking white flowerheads appear at the end of stems in late autumn and are very attractive to pollinating insects.

Plant Care

Plant in any good garden soil or patio container. Prune if required mid to late spring. Protect from cold winter winds.

Height/Width

Water thoroughly, or stand pot in a container of water for half an hour before planting. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Remove the pot, place the plant in the hole so that the root ball is level with the surrounding ground and refill, firming if necessary. Keep well watered in dry weather. Feed in spring with a good, general fertiliser.
