New for 2025

Silene dioica 'Valley High'

A boldly variegated form of 'Campion' with green and cream foliage. With a clump forming habit, it is a great addition to beds, borders and patio pots. From late spring, strong flower stems produce masses of pink flowers that are loved by garden pollinators. Hardy and easy to grow. (Photo courtesy of Ball Colegrave)

Water thoroughly, or stand pot in a container of water for half an hour before planting. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Remove the pot, place the plant in the hole so that the root ball is level with the surrounding ground and refill, firming if necessary. Keep well watered in dry weather. Feed in spring with a good, general fertiliser.
