Ceanothus 'El Dorado'
A variegated form of 'Californian Lilac'. This evergreen shrub is perfect for sunny spots in the garden. The variegated dark green and lime leaves give year round interest, whilst also providing the perfect backdrop for the clusters of small blue flowers. Loved by garden pollinators.
Plant Care
Plant in any good garden soil, avoiding wet areas. It may be kept smaller with a light pruning after each flowering in spring.

Water thoroughly, or stand pot in a container of water for half an hour before planting. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Remove the pot, place the plant in the hole so that the root ball is level with the surrounding ground and refill, firming if necessary. Keep well watered in dry weather. Feed in spring with a good, general fertiliser.
