Thalictrum 'Nimbus Pink' ('Tntnp') (Nimbus Series)
Striking dark stems and lovely fern-like, green foliage above which sits tall, lavender-pink flowers in massive puffs. This plant dies down in winter to regrow in spring. Trim off any old foliage and flower stems in spring and feed with a good general fertiliser.
Keep well watered until firmly established. Feed with a good liquid fertiliser every two weeks in the flowering season. Plant into any good garden soil, avoiding wet areas.
Water thoroughly, or stand pot in a container of water for half an hour before planting. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Remove the pot, place the plant in the hole so that the root ball is level with the surrounding ground and refill, firming if necessary. Keep well watered in dry weather. Feed in spring with a good, general fertiliser.
