Sedum 'Autumn Joy'

This 'Stonecrop' is one of the most dependable choices for late summer colour and effect. Succulent type leaves in early season are covered with colourful displays of enormous pink flower heads that deepen to a rich, bronzy-red. This plant dies down in winter to regrow each spring.

Plant Care

Keep well watered until firmly established. Plant into any good garden soil, avoiding wet areas. Feed in spring with a good general fertiliser. Trim to size and shape in spring, removing all spent flowers.

Water thoroughly, or stand pot in a container of water for half an hour before planting. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Remove the pot, place the plant in the hole so that the root ball is level with the surrounding ground and refill, firming if necessary. Keep well watered in dry weather. Feed in spring with a good, general fertiliser.
