RHS Plants for Pollinators

Agastache 'Poquito Dark Blue' ('TNAGAPDB' PBR)

This blue, dwarf 'Hummingbird Mint' is a magnet for all pollinators with a compact, low, bushy habit and large spikes of deep blue flowers above deep green foliage all summer. Hardy and easy to grow. The removal of spent blooms encourages more flowering. Drought tolerant when established.

Plant Care

Keep well watered until firmly established, feed with a good liquid fertiliser every two weeks in the flowering season. An ideal plant for patio containers or plant into any average garden soil, avoiding wet areas.

Water thoroughly, or stand pot in a container of water for half an hour before planting. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Remove the pot, place the plant in the hole so that the root ball is level with the surrounding ground and refill, firming if necessary. Keep well watered in dry weather. Feed in spring with a good, general fertiliser.
