Actaea pachypoda 'Misty Blue' 'Lk05'PBR
Baneberry'. This unique plant has very attractive steel green/blue leaves and bears clusters of fluffy white flowers on tall stems in late spring, followed by white berries held on red stalks. Very hardy and easy to grow. This plant dies down in winter to regrow in spring.
Keep well watered until firmly established, feed with a good liquid fertiliser every two weeks in the flowering season. An ideal plant for patio containers or plant into any average garden soil, avoiding wet areas.
Water thoroughly, or stand pot in a container of water for half an hour before planting. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Remove the pot, place the plant in the hole so that the root ball is level with the surrounding ground and refill, firming if necessary. Keep well watered in dry weather. Feed in spring with a good, general fertiliser.
