

Pittosporum Bannow Bay
A compact shrub of small, dense, variegated dark purple leaves with cream edges. This plant is grown for its compact shape and distinct foliage: wavy edged light green leaves which mature to a dark purple colour with cream variegation. Small dark purple flowers appear on established plants. Can be trimmed to shape and size at any time. Prune out winter damage in springtime.

Water thoroughly or stand pot in a container of water for half an hour before planting. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Remove the pot, place the plant in hole so that it is level with the surrounding ground, and refill firming as necessary. Keep well watered in dry weather. Feed in spring with a general fertiliser.
