Meconopsis Alba
The white flowered variety of the famous "Himalayan Blue Poppy" brings a wow factor to any garden, especially valuable for damp, shady areas or woodland. The pure white colour of the petals against the golden centre of the flower is striking in any setting. Once established the clumps are robust and easy to grow, but site the plant with care because they do not like being moved! The plant dies down in winter to regrow in spring.
Plant Care
A special plant that does need a good free-draining soil or compost. Feed in spring with a good general fertiliser. Best in a sheltered site away from cold winds, prefers shady areas but will tolerate some sun.
