Clematis 'General Sikorski'
A long flowering climber featuring an abundance of large, violet-blue flowers with bright yellow stamens from late spring to early September. Hardy and vigorous, keep well watered in spring while the plant experiences rapid growth in preparation for flowering. Produces attractively ornamental seedheads in autumn that are enjoyed by songbirds as a food source.
Plant Care
Any average garden soil, avoiding wet areas. Feed in spring with a good general fertiliser. Enjoys full sun to part shade, or a mix of both throughout the day and will do best when its roots are kept shaded and cool.
