Euonymus japonicus 'Marieke'
This plant originates from Japan and China. It is a medium sized, evergreen shrub, grown for its green and golden-yellow leaves. May have some small flowers on established plants. Provides year round, bright colour and can be used in floral decorations.

Great for patio pots. Plant into any good garden soil. Do not allow it to dry out. Prune to size and shape throughout the year as it grows.

Water thoroughly, or stand pot in a container of water for half an hour before planting. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Remove the pot, place the plant in the hole so that the root ball is level with the surrounding ground and refill, firming if necessary. Keep well watered in dry weather. Feed in spring with a good, general fertiliser.
