Coprosma 'Pacific Dawn'
Looking glass plant. The well-branched stems of this colourful evergreen are covered in bright, multi-coloured leaves which give year round interest. The samll flowers which appear on established plants are attractive to butterflies and bees. A neat growing plant that can easily be pruned to maintain shape and size.
Best in well drained, good garden soils or containers, plant away from cold winter winds. If winter damage occurs, prune plant to below the damage and it will quickly recover.
Water thoroughly, or stand pot in a container of water for half an hour before planting. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Remove the pot, place the plant in the hole so that the root ball is level with the surrounding ground and refill, firming if necessary. Keep well watered in dry weather. Feed in spring with a good, general fertiliser.
