Sophora microphylla 'Sun King'
A sunny dazzler in the cold weather, this semi-evergreen shrub produces a brilliant display of long-lasting bright yellow flowers in early spring. Adept at growing in small spaces this is a good shrub to grow against a sunny wall and makes a good specimen shrub for a large container. A low maintenance plant, trim to size in spring only if necessary.
Plant Care
Any average garden soil, avoiding wet areas. Feed in spring with a good general fertiliser. Enjoys full sun to part shade, or a mix of both throughout the day , but needs a sheltered spot.

Water thoroughly or stand pot in a container of water for half and hour before planting. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Remove the pot, place the plant in hole so that it is level with the surrounding ground, and re fill firming as necessary. Keep well watered in dry weather. Feed in spring with a general fertiliser
