Kniphofia 'Lemon Popsicle'PBR (Popsicle Series)
With a more compact habit than other 'Red Hot Pokers' "Lemon Popsicle" brings a vibrant boost to beds, borders and patio pots. The grass-like leaves are surrounded by stout flower spikes of lemon-yellow over the summer months. Great as a constrast plant in the garden or as cut flowers.
Keep well watered until firmly established. Plant into any good garden soil, avoiding wet areas. Feed with a good liquid fertiliser every two weeks in the flowering season.
Water thoroughly, or stand pot in a container of water for half an hour before planting. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Remove the pot, place the plant in the hole so that the root ball is level with the surrounding ground and refill, firming if necessary. Keep well watered in dry weather. Feed in spring with a good, general fertiliser.
