Knautia macedonica 'Thunder and Lightning'PBR (v)
This eye-catching Knautia is much more compact than other varieties, with a clump forming habit. The variegated foliage of pale green and cream create a contrasting backdrop for the bright pink, pincushion-like florets that float above on slender stems. Easy to grow and loved by garden pollinators. (Photo courtesy of Ball Colegrave)

Water thoroughly, or stand pot in a container of water for half an hour before planting. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball.
