A mound forming, evergreen plant that is hardy and easy to grow, with red foliage that turns deep shades in the cooler months and spikes of yellow flowers in the spring. Great plant for growing in patio containers, or plant in any average garden soil, avoiding wet areas. Caution - All parts may cause severe discomfort if ingested, contact with their milky sap may irritate the skin.
Keep well watered until firmly established, feed with a good liquid fertiliser every 2 weeks in the flowering season. Trim to size and shape after flowering.
Soak plant thoroughly in its pot before planting, dig a hole large enough to comfortably accommodate the root ball. Ensure the surrounding soil and the top of the root ball are at the same level. Fill around the root ball with soil mixed with good planting compost and a suitable fertliser. Firm well and water generously
