Agapanthus 'Pino'

A newly introduced 'African Lily' that is very free flowering. Multiple strong stems of blue flowers in early to late spring. Hardy and easy to grow. The blooms can be used as cut flowers and are attractive to bees and butterflies. This plant dies down in winter to regrow in spring.

Plant Care

Keep well watered until firmly established, feed with a good liquid fertiliser every two weeks in the flowering season. An ideal plant for patio containers or plant into any average garden soil, avoiding wet areas.

Water thoroughly, or stand pot in a container of water for half an hour before planting. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Remove the pot, place the plant in the hole so that the root ball is level with the surrounding ground and refill, firming if necessary. Keep well watered in dry weather. Feed in spring with a good, general fertiliser.
