Acorus Ogon
Carex Evergold
Carex oshimensis Everest
Dense, mound-forming evergreen grass with beautiful narrow, glossy, deep green arching leaves crisply margined in bright white. Distinctive variety with an elegant habit.
Cortaderia Pumilla
A fine form which is very compact and free-flowering. Shapely hummocks of mid-green foliage are topped by sturdy, short-stemmed fluffy plumes of silvery cream for high summer onwards.
Festuca Azurit
Evergreen perennial ornamental grass, providing pleasure for many years. Forms neat tufts of extremely blue foliage all year, with blue-green flowers in summer.
Hakonechloa macro Alboaurea
Perennial ornamental grass, providing pleasure for many years. Almosts disappears into the ground in winter and re-appears in spring with lots of tiny light yellow shoots eventually becoming bright yellow striped green.
Imperata Red Baron
Japanese Blood Grass is a slow spreading grass, forming loose clumps of flat mid-green leaves which turn deep red from the tips; fluffy silver white flowers in late summer.
Pennisetum Vertigo
Really big dramatic statement plant for the summer border, easily making 1.2m (4ft) tall and more in a long summer. Big, strappy arching leaves which emerge in spring as mottled green-purple, gradually becoming darker and broadening into a sword-shape as they mature.
Stipa Arundinacea
Pheasant Tail Grass, one of the most versatile evergreen grasses, it thrives in sun or part shade and glows shades of copper, gold and bronze int he autumn.
