Penstemon heterophyllus 'Electric Blue'
Penstemons are renowned for their resilience, long flowering and weather resistance. This bushy, upright plant produces intensely blue flowers with a tinge of purple on tall spikes. Great for patio containers or beds. A semi-evergreen plant so best planted away from cold winter winds.
Plant Care
Keep well watered until firmly established. Plant into any average garden soil, avoiding wet areas. Prune to size and shape and feed with a good general fertiliser in spring.

Water thoroughly, or stand pot in a container of water for half an hour before planting. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Remove the pot, place the plant in the hole so that the root ball is level with the surrounding ground and refill, firming if necessary. Keep well watered in dry weather.
