Eryngium planum 'Magical Blue Globe ('Kolmaglo')
This steel blue "Sea Holly" is compact, hardy and easy to grow, producing strong stems, holding iridescent blue flowers. Excellent plant growing in patio pots or borders. A good plant for coastal planting. Excellent as cut flowers. This plant dies down in winter to re-grow in spring.
Plant Care
Keep well watered until firmly established. Plant into any average garden soil, avoiding wet areas. Remove dead foliage and old flower stems and feed with a good fertiliser in spring.

Water thoroughly, or stand pot in a container of water for half an hour before planting. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Remove the pot, place the plant in the hole so that the root ball is level with the surrounding ground and refill, firming if necessary. Keep well watered in dry weather.
